Hi I wanted to make a hallway for my horror project and I’m confused with the textures. I can figure out the vertex painting, it is just getting the textures. do I get a plane and get one texture, then export then the next texture, then the next?
hello the question is quite vauge, personally i would build your hallway in something blender or maya then import the mapped Texture/Mesh and from there i use UE to create lighting and atmosphere effect, i always struggle building meshes unless you have a specific generated style “Ex-Fences are good as its one texture” but to answer your question you would need to create a fairly advanced material object and reference that for painting, i found a good resource for this on youtube he applies dirt to a concrete texture sounds like your going for a similar effect on a wall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufE0QHwVP8w&t=3s
