My game is a first person shooter, so its kinda violent. My trailer and some of my screen shots were flagged for violence, due to epics stance on having all front content deemed appropiate for a teenage audience. What i dont understand is why Mortal Kombat 1 can have a mans head ripped off and his spine hanging off on their trailers? Is this a double standard or something? How can my game about killing monsters and soldiers with a full dismemberment system actually have a trailer that shows gameplay? Anyone have an explanation for this?
I haven’t submitted a game myself on the Epic Games Store, so my knowledge surrounding this is a bit off. I was wondering if you may have set a particular age group for your game and your trailers don’t reflect that group?
