Video Codec for import

Hello,

I am trying to import video from my iPhone Xs. It shoots using the HVEC codec. I am also shooting 4k resolution at 60fps. RC says this is “Unsupported file format. Try to install a codec for your file format.” I downloaded HVEC codec for windows 10 and now windows media player can play this file fine but RC still cannot import. 

I tried converting to H.264 mp4 file but still no luck. 

What formats are supported for video import? Is it possible to use HVEC codec?

Nevermind! I was using the “Import” button but I needed to press the “Video Sequence” button. Should have read the manual closer. But it would be nice if the Import button was smart enough to detect this is a video and proceed down that import process.
