Hello, I have been more of an artist over the years, but i find a want to make more tools and program more in general. I have been trying to use multiple LLM models to help with coding like
-
Chat GPT (Rubbish had little to no context of unreal),
-
Gemini (Better than Chat GPT but lacked understanding on engine and finer point.)
-
Then i have tried Google’s new Jules the past 2 days and I have already see a lot of progress not only did it help me understand certain thing with Json serialization but also its code suggestion actually worked most of the time. (However i did find some issue when it came to its understanding of blueprint scripting itself, but with some context it could read the documentation and suggest and alternative.)
If anyone wants to contribute to how AI is helping them with c++ and particularly in unreal I would love to hear any suggestions you have. Also has anyone got a git Repo that has all the engine files as i .ignore them with my git repo. I am wondering if it worth having a bare bones Repo with the engine (5.5.4) files. Then we feed that into Jules and see what it does when we try to do more complex things for the editor.
If anyone is interested in join up to make some mini games and work on dev ops and share code I could really use a human buddy and not just an AI. #
Best wishes.

I also made a video from today’s stream were it showed what’s it like for a Noob like me to use JULES. it a long boring unedited video but it might help some people.
