Very sporadic performance in UE5 on a high end machine

I’m running a small scene with 3 characters on a computer with an RTX 3070 and a Ryzen 9. For about 2-3 hours my viewport was running at a solid 60 frames a second or higher, then it crashed and since opening the project again it is unbearably slow. Making it very difficult to work in the sequencer and do my general pipeline work. Any ideas why it has slowed down post crash? My playback has dropped to 10 fps or lower.
