Very poor quality of asset textures

You still can’t stick your nose on it, but that’s not going to work with any of the assets…

The only kind of rocks you will be able to walk right up to are ones with ‘trick’ shaders. So they have a basic mesh, and rock samples laid out on them, but it’s not photogrammetry. They also have camera fade texture swaps ( especially ) for normals, which make the rock look good up close.
