Hello. I want to make Very very large Land but have some problem with that.
So - I have a landscape made by heightmap 8161x8161 pixels - and Landscape actor has 1700 scale for keeping real size part of earth about 19 000 square kilometers. And I want to place above ALL land - grass/ I decide to use Landscape Grass node for it, cause it is must prefer for FPS and nice look. But grass is grow NOT by Landscape mesh - it has strange empty space. In wire wfare mode I see thet grass physically grows but NOT on land mesh. Look like it grows on heightmap with some interpolation or I dont know.
Maybe there is a way for fix that? Maybe in Land material I must to put any node - that will place Grass exactly on poligon of land mesh?
BTW “foliage” Tool draws grass right. But I dont want to draw by hand all land) it will take a month lol, cause “Fill” tool of foliage place grass only on static meshes, not on landscape.
