Hi guys, can you help me please with setup 2D games by our engine for mobile devices. Mean, I have very bad performance with Paper2D default sprites.
Game prototype for example (32 - 36 fps): Per Aspera Ad Bonum - YouTube
For test I collected only background sprites,14 layers for camera view and got 38 - 40 fps(). When I try to add more sprites, coins for example, 20 pieces I get 30 - 32 fps.
When I try it by Unity Engine, I get 58 fps, and if I add more coins, 200 pieces for example then 20 fps for UE, and 57-58 for Unity.
I setup build for mobile devices, disable all post processes, but I can not get good performance anyway.
I really love UE and I have experience in VR and 3D games with it, I’m comfortable with UE and I don’t want to change it for 2D games. I can not understand where such a performance difference.
Did anyone encounter a similar problem?
