Vertex weight map option in displacement tools

Hi there!

I wanted to ask if there is anyone who knows how this option works.
I suppose that it may be related to using the vertex color information to control the displacement, but I don’t have any option in the checkbox (having the object vertex colors)

You can use weight map to control what areas of the static mesh get displaced. You need to first add the weight map attribute with the AttributeEditor.

Once you have added the weight map you can use the mapPaint tool to paint the weights.

After the map is created the weightMap field in displacement will show you a list of available weightMaps(you can have multiple).
