Vertex painting with blueprint spline meshes?

Hey guys, I’m just about to start a new project and I’m just doing a few tests on some things. I’m trying to create a wall along a spline and I’ve found a YouTube tutorial (link below) on how to create meshes along a spline and I was just wondering if -

  1. If there’s a way to specify a start piece, have multiple middle pieces and then an end piece leaving you a whole wall.
  2. If you can vert paint the meshes? I’ve found this - Cannot Vertex Paint Blueprint WHY?Should I report it as a bug? - Blueprint - Unreal Engine Forums and it says that it was added in 4.2 but I’m using 4.7 (preview 5) and I can’t seem to do it for some reason.

(I’ve substituted a fence I already had for my test)

Blueprint

Thanks in advance for any help!

Does anyone have any info on this?

Thanks in advance

Resurrect. Yes, I would like to know if this will be made possible?

This link states that it is not possible to vertex paint on splines (Landscape) so presumably it’s not possible on blueprint splines.

I can confirm this is now possible.

how? It does not work for me in UE 5.2 on a typical spline blueprint that i used for a sidewalk.
