Hello,
I am following a tutorial for modeling a barrel inside Unreal Engine.
When editing polygroup faces in the push/pull mode and setting the direction mode to “vertex Normals”, the barrel wall should expand, while keeping each face connected to each other.
Instead, each face expands while keeping a gap, like this:
It’s supposed to expand with gaps closed:
It’s a course on Udemy, the teacher doesn’t understand why this error is happening for some people and assumes it’s a bug.
Other people using Unreal Engine 5.4 (like me) experience the same issue.
I’m hoping someone hear can help me understand why this is happening. Is this a bug or did Unreal Engine change/add functionalities to the editor?
