Vertex color and reimporting Static Mesh

We are using Vertex Color Information for some of our meshes
So… I just painted the vertex color on my mesh and then saved it

after a while I recognized I had to do a change in blender and wanted to reimport the mesh but now sadly all of my work I did in UE5 with the vertex color painting is gone…

I set the reimport settings to:
Vertex Color Import Option > Ignore

I thought that would ignore the vertex color of the .fbx
what else do i have to change in the settings?
It always gets resetted when I reimport my mesh

what can I do to keep the Vertex color I painted in UE?
