Version Control on UE4 Projects (and Tips/Tricks for git and git-lfs)

I’ve been through about five iterations of version control systems for Steel Hunters]( so far, and I thought I’d share my experience with a variety of solutions, where I ended up as of two days ago (and why it had to change two days ago), and some git resources and tips/tricks/tools/utilities for working with git in general.
