Version 4.24 A real nightmare I will return to cryengine

This version is the crash itself. It’s a nightmare. I can’t use anything else. I can’t use any megascans material that my PC crashes. I am forced to restart the machine. Just click on the preview of the material that happens. I cannot delete a third party package installed on my project. I can’t navigate the launcher. Put in the aboute of the new versions “BUG Inside” Epic Games needs to test the products before launching on the market. It is now the practice to release the version at any cost and then fix it in the next FIX, this is an unacceptable practice for software development. If they don’t have developers capable of creating a solid product, change your profession.

I don’t know the min requirements but 8gb is certainly very little for UE. Imho 16 GB min, 32 highly recommended.

Also… artist would need 32 GB RAM for convenient work, especially with stuff like scanned assets.
Upcoming generation of consoles uses 16 GB, and that’s for compressed and packaged games. Editing assets need more resources than that

Awesome! Good bye, and good luck with CryEngine!

4.25 seems nice.
