When trying to build verse files, I get a bunch of errors in verse files that are inside of the sys/published folder

I don’t have a way to reproduce, but it is consistently happening in the project I’m working in.
Expected Result
Verse should build.
Observed Result
Verse errors appear from verse files that are placed in the sys/published folder.
