Verifying a Copied version of UE5

I’d like to make Epic games launcher read my copied version of UE5.0.3 instead of downloading the whole engine again but i can’t do that … i tried to copy the files of the engine without (.egstore) folder and clicked resume on the launcher but the launcher give me an error " Directory must be empty " so i would like to know what should i do even though i didn’t find the Engine , Templates and Samples folders in the (.egstore) folder only found these 3 folder C , F ,M which contains unknown files , so hope you can help me …

if you run the engine from the folder where you have it
it should appear in the launcher next time you open it
you can put a link straight to the dtop from the install folder.

I tried to do so . I opened the engine from the folder but it didn’t appear in the launcher …
and actually i couldn’t get what do you mean by put a link straight to the dtop from the install folder ?!!
But the problem still occur !!
