Vehicles in their current state have a lot of potential but just aren’t fun due to a couple factors…
Within verse you don’t have much control of the car itself that is spawned from the spawner, but only control of the spawner itself, you can’t control where the car’s transform only the cars spawner’s transform, even a simple change like that would be extremely helpful.
Another problem I have is that because we cannot directly control the vehicles position/rotation in verse if the vehicle is tipped upside down there is 0 way to flip the vehicle without exiting it, and in a game style where you don’t want the player to exit the vehicle this can become super problematic and detrimental to a games potential, if this were to be added, i would like to see it implemented similar to the mechanic based off of Grand Theft Auto; where pushing the movement input left/right will rock the vehicle until it tips the correct way.
Finally collisions between cars. The collisions between cars are super anticlimactic and boring, no matter the speed that you run into another car or vehicle, the impact is so minimal, and doesn’t really represent either realistic physics nor arcady physics they are just completely dull and boring.
In the soon to come physics update these last two problems i mentioned could fit into that criteria. I know custom vehicles would in the future will be possible, but i see no reason as to why the already made vehicles are so limited, even though they have so much potential.
