Vehicle Problems and Blender

I have a vehicle(1 body and 4 wheels) that rests maybe 30 cm above the ground, it can drive forward/backward, it will go in the direction the front wheels point(does not turn, just goes) and then when I stop it, it slowly rotates, as if it has little to no friction. I cannot find an example/question with these kind of characteristics anywhere.

I have noticed that when resetting the physics asset in PhAT, the box I create for the body is oriented wrong when I add it and I have to fix it, despite the fact the bones are shown to be oriented correctly.

Aside from that, the animation works on all wheels and they are visually in the correct place.

I can confirm that my vehicle setup inside Unreal is working, but not with my model. I have made it work with both the sample car and an .fbx from a tutorial.

I have tried adjusting the wheel radius in UE4,
pivot to 0,0,0 in blender on the root object(body),
made sure all the rotations and scales were reset,
it is oriented along the x axis correctly,
all bones have correct axis when displayed in unreal,
wheels and root are certainly above 0z in blender,
tried older versions of blender(matching versions in tutorials and following closely)
other things…I’ve been at this a while.

I’ve fixed/checked every common issue I could find details on.

Really any help would be appreciated…I’m out of ideas at this point!

the only option i can give is to make it into a simple basic project (no starter or extra) content zip/rar it up and upload it some where and pm me a link so that i can dl it to check it out.

it sounds like you have all the common issues in hand so its hard to guess what may be wrong
