[vehicle]best way to create vehicle damage

Hi, i try create visual damage for my vehicle but don’t know best way to do that, for now i create trigger in my front damage point and do damage from speed of vehicle(with map range clamped node to morph target 0-1(max damage)) , but trigger work only with static mesh(in every static mesh i need enable Hit and overlap event) maybe there another way to checking damage point(line trace?)
