Vegetation it's not affected by wind on animations!!

Hi everyone,

Why vegetation(bushes, trees) aren't moving on animations with path tracer&raster?

Even I've tried to change the wind speed to 3 and 5, and yes vegetations have the wind option on.

Thank you!

Hello ,

Thank you for posting your question in the community and at this time the wind feature is not very drastic for Trees unless there are set to the fall season and leaves would be falling and you are looking at the leaves closely. Mostly flags, tall grass, smoke particles and the default clouds will be moving when the wind is enabled. The Path Tracer has limitations to some of the features thus the wind effect won't be as noticeable with it compared to the raster engine. https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/Twinmotion-2022-1-Release-Notes

If you would like to see better wind affects I recommend you make a suggestion in the road-map: https://portal.productboard.com/7pu88c9kpmqtzt8hwg6arujh/tabs/4-under-consideration

I'm using TM 2022.2 currently without the path tracer as my machine won't support it but the trees aren't moving at all when rendering a video. The clouds in the standard sky however are moving ridiculously fast even though I've only set the wind setting is 2.1 so no use at all, it's a pity as a bit of movement really adds to an external video clip. I will now have to re render with no wind. That's after I redo the video camera path trying to avoid speed changes from one key frame to the next. Anything other than simple panning clips seem to be far more trouble than they're worth.

Kind regards
