VCamActor shows up uninvited. Please leave! But how?

Hello folks,

I have a problem with map in my current project. A VCamActor shows up in the outliner and auto-activates. It is then stuck in pilot mode of this camera that i can’t get out of and i can’t delete the VCamActor o

bject. I try to force delete it and it warns me about breaking a reference to a non-existing object. When i then do it, nothing happens. It is still there.

The camera and its hidden component are inside the map only. In the outliner. There are no components in the content folder. The camera object links to the map. Which i guess cameras always do.

The problem shows up when i preview the map and returns to editor mode (In third person mode, which usually works) or when i make a duplicate of the map. The duplicate then gets “infected”.

I have recently upgraded the project from Unreal 5.1 to 5.2 and i don’t know if that plays a part. I have not installed any other packages opr plugins or functions from the Market recently.

I hope someone out there knows how to kill this camera or how it exists in the first place. I have not been able to find anything about this problen in my searches online.

Thansk,
Mikkel
