I encountered an error while trying to use Line Link VCAM on my Apple tablet to connect to the virtual camera in UE4.27 on my PC. I have tried various methods from online forums, but none of them have resolved the issue. Interestingly, using pixel streaming in UE5 works without any problems, but my device has not been recognized in remote sessions with UE4.
My PC is running on Windows 11, and my iOS device is an iPad Pro. I have already disabled all firewalls, have not installed any security software on my computer, and both devices are connected to the same network. The program settings have also been properly configured according to the documentation.
I have connected my computer to a private router, and my iOS device is using the router’s Wi-Fi on the same channel. However, my iOS device still cannot be recognized, whether or not I use port 6666.
Various errors have been triggered during my attempts to troubleshoot the problem, including
“Couldn’t connect: Can’t assign requested address,”
“Couldn’t connect: no route to host,”
“Couldn’t connect: Attempt to connect to host timed out,”
“Couldn’t connect: Host is down,” and “Couldn’t connect: Connection refused.”
Which of these errors might be the closest to the correct answer?
I have been struggling with this issue for a day and would greatly appreciate any help or advice.
