Hi there, i’ve been using houdini 20 and the latest VAT tool (labs VAT 3) to export a vertex animation texture of a vellum cloth sim (see attached video). when i export from houdini i don’t get any errors, and the mesh preview correctly. BUT when i import it in UE 5.4 the mesh seems broken. i’m not sure if this is related to some nanite bugs. i tried changing some nanite settings in the mesh editor, as well as some in the material editor but i got no results. any leads ?
EDIT : weridly, if go into the modelling tools > edit normals : the preview display the mesh correctly, without any holes… so I tried editing the normals and apply the changes… but as soon as I exit the modeling mode the issue comes back.
