Hi everyone,
We identified an issue that interrupted Epic’s collection of VAT for UE Marketplace purchases from February 6, 2020 to April 22, 2020. As of April 22, this error was corrected and VAT is now being properly collected once again. Due to this adjustment, you may have noticed an increase in total price for some products.
Neither Marketplace buyers or sellers will feel the effects of this error. Epic is absorbing VAT on all purchases made during this time.
While we hope we never see errors of this kind, we wanted to be transparent about the issue and assure you that your accounts have not been negatively impacted by this.
