**Hello guys, let me give the raw information first. **
Branch: Binary Build from the Launcher
Build Version: latest version ( 4.4.1-2270799+++depot+UE4+Releases+4.4)
Detailed Description of the Issue:
The program crashes when I pull in Geometry > Box (didn’t try with other figures)
and then press CTRL+Z to undo that step.
After redownloading/reinstalling 3 times I went to Editor Preferences > Level Editor > Miscellaneous and turned off “Update BSP Automatically”. No “undo-crashes” appeared after that. I turned the option on again the still no crashes (dunno if it has something to do with the option at all).
Happy about not crashing I started building, and after ~20 minutes the program crashed while flying around holding right click and using WASD.
EDIT: Now it crashed shortly after attaching the default blueprint/ lighted wallsconce to a wall.
**Reproduction Steps for the Undo-Crashes: **
1.: Load up Ego-Perspective Blueprint in New Project, delete the assets and geometry that have been placed by default.
2.: Go to Geometry > Box and place it.
3.: Press CTRL-Z
4.: Crash
(5.: Sadness)
Reproduction for the other crash:
I was just flying around and it crashed seemingly “random”, I think the logs can give you more insight.
What I Tried so far:
- Redownload/install UE4
- start as Admin
- reinstall graphics drivers
- googling the ■■■■ out of this problem
What I will do:
- reinstalling my OS in a few minutes, I’ll report back in after that
EDIT2: reinstalling my OS and drivers etc didn’t help, it’s still crashing seemingly “random” and the log looks identical to the ones I uploaded.
System Specs:
Intel i5-2500k at ~4GHZ
8GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD7970 3GHZ Edition
Windows 8.1
Logs are attached, pleeeease help me!
I was so looking forward to starting projects :(.
If there are questions I’ll try to answer them immediately, I’ll be lurking around here for a while.
