Vampyre Face Morphs and Iray question

I’m testing a vampyre character exported from DAZ and imported into UE4.18 in order to pull out the best realism and have a ready to play asset.
In the video I created the vampyre in DAZ with face expressions and body muscle as a set of target morphs. Then I imported all into Unreal Engine 4.18.
I created a standard walking Player with a few blueprint Morphs looping on the face (eyes closing, angry face, etc). I added clothing info to the small clothing around the waist.
Tested in Loft apt for more light realism.
Considering that it is an asset for a possible game scene, the realism is acceptable and don’t think to push it more on the materials. I’ll focus on animations and perhaps add more clothing assets.

Iray question:
Rendering a character in DAZ via iray gives amazing result as you can see in the image below but I haven’t found any info to bake the rendered textures and import them into UE4…perhaps no possible.

That looks fantastic. I think the photorealism you have achieved is outstanding. If you’re wanting to push it further perhaps the Photorealistic Character Materials can be reference.

We’re planning to create our Characters and Creatures w/ MorphTargets using a DAZ->UE4 Workflow. Your work is inspirational.

Thanks TechLord, I took a few weeks of tests to find a good process settings from daz to ue4 character, with face animations morphs usable as bprints . It is not a short process and every step needs some accuracy (and includes also 3dxchange and iclone for idle and walk animations because daz skeletons are completely different from mixamo and ue4 mannequin skeletons) but after some tests it now seems stable and most important the dad export is applicable to any character genesis 2,3,8.
Skin realism is fine for me at this level and I’m not pushing more now because I have to focus on monsters and vegetation creatures to be animated and morphed.

About iray baked texture still no news…perhaps an impossible bake to obtain simply ah! :slight_smile:
