Valley of the Ancient plugins missing

I downloaded the UE5 Preview 1 yesterday and had a test project going in the Valley of the ancient demo, and now I can’t seem to open it at all. Getting error for missing plugins-

NiagaraSimulationStages
AncientBattle
InstanceLevelCollision

Anyone aware of a fix for this? Worst case scenario is there a way to maybe open an older version before I downloaded the Preview?

So decided to search my pc for those plugins and they all do show up in the Valley of the ancient project files, which just makes this more annoying as to why it says they’re not there.

Also tried copying the whole project and still no luck opening, same missing plugin errors as before.

i think it because the valley example project is not updated to unreal 5 preview. In the new page of unreal 5, the example project is not listed.

Thanks for the response, and yes I believe you’re right. I uninstalled the Preview and it started working again luckily.

Hoping to migrate what I need to another project and reinstall the preview and it’ll work. Only downside so far is the performance on my level in the new project isn’t as good as it is in the Valley of the Ancient project for whatever reason.

I am using UE 5 preview, couldn’t find UE5 yet. I have loaded all niagara related plugins. still when I try to open VA project I get this message "niagara simulations stages’ plugin ’ not found.

What I meant by that was once I uninstalled Preview 1 of UE5, I only had the Early Access version left on my PC. So something in Preview 1, or rather something missing from Preview 1 prevents the demo from opening.

Never did find an answer to why that plug-in or any of them for VA don’t show up in preview 1 unfortunately. Sorry!

Thank you for the response. Now I am having UE5, but the same error message ‘NiagaraSimulationStages’ not found, still pops up.

This is happening for me too still. It seems like we can’t open Valley of the Ancients on UE5 now?

I have a launcher build of 5.0.1 and a source build.

This appears to have a resolved status. To Clarify: it seems that this was deprecated i.e. no longer supported. Valley of the Ancient Sample Game for Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.0 Documentation
