Hey guys,
I have been working on this project for a couple of weeks now. It’s a loft inspired by
Screenshots can be found here:
Using the sequencer tool, I noticed a couple of problems.
At the beginning of the video, there’s a weird flickering in the reflection in the bathroom. It doesn’t appear in play mode or editor mode.
I used a planar reflection for that glass door.
Very reflective stuff, like chrome materials, tends to flicker too. It is a very ugly grainy flickering. It’s not that noticeable in this version,
since I turned up the roughness, but I don’t like this solution, since chrome is suppose to be shiny.
I was wondering what the highest possible render settings were suppose to be? What settings do I need to tweak?
For this project I used:
sg.PostProcessQuality 3
r.PostProcessAAQuality 6
Screen Scpace Reflections:
Intensity: 100
Quality: 100
Max Roughness: 1
Screen Percentage: 400
I also noticed that rendering anything, with a higher setting than HD(1920x1080) with anything, with a higher setting than Screen Percentage 100,
causes the engine to crash. HD with Screen Percentage 400 seems to work fine.(Still talking about Sequencer, not play mode).
Help and feedback are appreciated.
