The plugin provides several utilities to enhance the editor experience, including custom toolbars, menu items, class icons, thumbnails, and UMG controls.

Features:

  • Custom Toolbar Button to Invoke a New Editor Tab from an Editor Utility Widget.

  • Ability to Call the Run Function from an Editor Utility Blueprint (AssetAction or ActorAction) from menu entries and toolbar buttons.

Plugin updated to Unreal Engine 5.6. The latest version of the plugin includes two new features

  • Place Actors Category: Add a custom category to the Place Actors panel
  • Toolbar Combo Button: You can utilize any Editor Utility Widget as the menu content for a combo button on any toolbar.

Hi, you don’t have any support contact info specified so i’ll ask here
i’ve been using your plugin quite a lot (on 5.6.1)
now when I have utilized 2 regular buttons and 4 combo ones, the engine crashes on level opening every time when i have activated any combo button at least once; and does not crash if I don’t touch them. Regular buttons do not cause the issue.
I did not notice that before but i can’t say for sure if i did any level loading after working with the tools since i spend most of the time on one level.
I’ve tried cache cleaning & plugin rebuilding.

Any idea why this might happen?

also as a suggestion, would be cool to have the ability to define tooltips for the buttons; or rather to use EUW class HelpText \ tooltip property for that

Thank you for your feedback. Based on the screenshot, I understand that the Utility Widget refers to the current world. I will investigate the crash you are experiencing. It would be very helpful if you could send me your log file to the email address listed on my publisher page on FAB, so I can look into this further.
