Hello everyone,
I am experiencing some issues with version 4.18.2 (I had to update today because of a bug in 4.16 with vertex paint).
First thing first, my PC specs:
CPU: i7-6700k
GPU: nVidia GTX 1060
RAM: 8GB DDR4
Average CPU temp: 30°C
No SSD (never been an issue)
OS: Windows 10 latest build

When using the engine, if I click somewhere else that the viewport UE4 starts to lag like never before. I enabled the “Show FPS” option and it goes down to 6/9FPS every time
-I try to modify a property of an asset
-I try to edit a material or material instance in a new window or in the same windows (docked near the main view, I don’t know if you got what I mean)
-I try to change the brush size of the landscape tool
When I click back into the viewport the lag stops and the framerate increase to 119/120FPS, engine graphic settings are of course set to Epic or Cinematic (always worked perfectly with UE4.16). -
When I sculpt a landscape, the brush intensity seems to be ignored. If I insert “0.1” , “1” or “0,0001” the result looks exactly the same and the tools’ strenght is not changing at all.

When sculpting a landscape, the Undo history only saves 1 modification, while in the previous version it saved a lot more changes. If I change a setting and then I press CTRL + Z the small popup on the bottom right corner appears (and also here issue 1 occours) but the setting is not changed to the previous one.
I don’t know what is going on, but I’m quite sure that my installation is corrupted since no one seems to have this issues.
IF you have any suggestion (that is different from reinstalling the whole engine ;P) I’ll be happy to try it out.
