UV Tiling and Draw Calls

Does a tiling UV map create extra draw calls?

Two sides of a wall will share a texture (material). To set this up in the UV (Blender), I put the two sides together, sharing an edge (T,B,L,R, shouldn’t matter). One side of the wall is squarely in the UV mapping space, the other side is adjacent. You know the drill.

Tiling of the UV does not create draw calls. Having more than one material, does.
