USS Enterprise - E | Finished High Resolution Unreal Engine Asset

Finally finished my Enterprise E asset,

Revamped my entire modelling workflow for this, much higher quality geometry and many more UDIMs for texturing.

I wanted to see how far I could push a Star Trek Ship inside of Unreal Engine and how close to show / film quality i could get!

Extreamly happy with how this came out and I’m looking forward to making some more Trek ships down the line!

But otherwise, i like the lighting; everything was always ‘spotlight bright’ in the series. It was always hard to pick out the glow of the ship against itself but you have it better here.

This is such a gorgeous render. The reflections and lights truly add life to it all. If I may I ask, what is the primary texture material is used for in the ship’s metal?

Hi @DylserX This looks amazing! The Enterprise feels very believable. The level of detail and lighting really help to sell the model and make it feel like something that you would see in a movie. You can tell that you put a lot of effort into this, it really shows.

Thanks! Its completley textured in Substance Painter so all custom, in terms of emtalness i kissed a little bit in there to get the look nice in the light, I’m working on an Akira class now and improving it
