I’m having trouble with this one material, two instances setup of vertex paint of the mesh.
These are separated meshes within the same object. The stakes are made of wood and the flat section is made of mud, so naturally I want to use different strokes and sizes when painting over the vertex. But I end up painting section blocking the other mesh. Can’t mask it out without making it into a separate object which makes it harder to modularize the assets. Any ways to make it so that I can only paint on one instance of the material?
