Using UV Atlas from fracture mode (AutoUV function)

Hi, i create geometry collection in fracture mode, and paid attention to the auto UV function. Since my model didn’t have any unwrapping to begin with, I thought I could use this feature to add some detail using textures. As a result, I got this UV atlas. I’ve had to do UV unwrapping a couple of times, but I’ve never encountered maps like this before. I assumed that using this map with a mask you can apply certain parts of the texture to the mesh, but I have not yet understood whether this is true and how to do it. To be honest, the model is quite complex and I don’t expect to get an acceptable result, but I’m curious to know what kind of tool it is. There is almost no information about it on the Internet, and I didn’t find anything in the documentation either. Any suggestions?
