Using the Unreal Engine skeleton mesh on my character.

Hello all, I am in the progress of designing a character in Maya. I am new to all of this, and want to import my finalised character in Unreal. For this I would like to use the existing skeleton from the standard mannequin. Could anyone give me a little help on the pipeline going from attaching this skeleton to my character? Many thanks!

Best way, if you would like the use the same skeletal hierarchy, is to install the ART plugin which comes with UE4.

Check the docs and the UE4 youtube channel, there is a playlist showing off all the various technical details about the use of ART Toolkit :wink:
