Using the shooter game example as a base?

The one thing i have ran into with shooter game is the inability to view or edit the event graphs of the “stock” character blueprints. being able to change their mesh or AI is simple. But actually seeing how the events unfold for the character is apparently impossible. I was hoping to be able to model my custom character’s event graph after the Bot pawn’s event graph so that it could also be damaged in the same way. Looks like ill be going back to the FPS tutorial. Shooter game is great, but its seems as if it is really only for really really new people. Just so they can get a grasp of what can be done in the engine.
