Here’s a little challenge. I’m using animated sprites as billboards as my foliage. I also want to include atmospheric effects such as the FogGradients post-processing effect, or exponential height fog, etc. However I can’t figure out a way to have the sprites be affected by these effects- they just appear “on top”.
Perhaps there is a trick in the BP to make them appear faded from a certain distance, or there is a way to directly affect the material. Does anyone have any ideas for this?
Did you ever resolve this? I got stumped on exactly the same problem, playing with postprocess materials. Even just understanding why this happens would be nice!
