Hello!
I am very new to Unreal and will probably end up working with someone more experienced for this project, but nevertheless I would really like to hear some suggestions and possible creative solutions:
In my project I am going to use an old analogue TV displaying static (noise) and a camera pointing at the screen of the TV. Now I know that noise is used in Unreal to simulate some textures and make them more organic, like for example the waves on the sea. I am wondering if I could use the images (or a continious stream) of the static from the TV as the noise to generate textures or affect something else in Unreal. Like for exmaple using the image of this noise from TV to create waves in the water.
My other option is to convert the image of the static into a tring of random umbers (in the raspberrry Pi for example) and feed this data into unreal. Not sure what I could do with it then? Maybe anyone has suggestions?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
