Hello,
I just switched from UE4.26 to UE5 for my game and I am loving everything except for one thing.
Chaos kinda sucks at this moment in time: stuff is clipping around and performance is as low as my self-esteem, so I was wondering, is there a way to change from Chaos to PhysX in UE5?
Not possible.
UE5.0 does not support PhysX. I tried compiling UE5.0 from source with PhysX physics, but there there were hundreds of different errors.
UE5 Early Access could be compiled from source with PhysX.
UE5.1 will have some Chaos improvements, there was new article about 5.1 chaos physics.
I’ve ported PhysX to UE5.0, here:

Does this still work? The github link has been removed.
Github link is working fine.
To access that github link you must be logged into account that has access to UnrealEngine source code.
You can google search info on how to get access to UE source code on github. It is not complicated.
But didn’t you said it wasn’t possible to integrate physx to unreal and now this guy just prove you wrong and you’re acting like everything is normal…
I guess it is possible now… Probably that repository was added later due to requests.
I still can’t get physx 5 includes to compile with unreal. It gives errors internal to the sdk and I don’t think there is anything wrong with the SDK itself. It’s just not compatible with unreal for some reason.
its about dependencies …
No it’s not. And even if it was, your post is useless.
Not that your post is of much use… Could you expand on that?
