Using PhysicConstraintActor issues

so I am attempting to make a door that works on a hinge and I found the documentation for usage. I understand the majority of this document. But when I press play to test it, the door just disappears. I have the physics on the constraints are set to an object less then .1 distance away and generate simulated physics is toggled on for the door. I feel like I am doing this right but if I am missing something can someone let me know?

Edit: sorry I did not notice this before I posted this, the door is not disappearing it is positioning itself 5 feet away from the hinge and is sticking through the first floor of the house into the basement
