Using Paper 2d assets

Just curious if anyone has suggestions. I have been trying to make Unreal Paper 2d assets work inside Uefn, but since there is no tile map functionality im having to do everything from scratch. Biggest issue i am having atm is that on PC if you push both directional inputs at the same time character sprite disappears. I am using Input trigger device to determine the direction character is facing then checking fort_character Sprinting event to determine sprite animation to play. attatched is a link to view first level, but its a early version no decoration, healthbar, etc… and it runs smoother in game not sure why recording was so glitchy. Any suggestions appreciated.
