using ortho projection as UV for the mesh export?

Hello there!

I’d like to know if there is a way to use the ortho projection as UVs for the mesh export?

Once the ortho projection is done if I hit “mesh” to export it, RC gives me the mesh with the previous UV generated by the unwrap button not the planar one.

As I scanned pavements, having a planar UV of the whole would be a lot easier for me than having random patches.

Does anyone know how this would be possible?

by UVs you mean texture?

This isn’t possible in RC, but you can export ortho as an image and map it to mesh in some external tool.
