I’ve downloaded the Game Animation Sample (the motion matching project with 500+ animations). I want to add the TwinBlade Anim Set animations to the project, but they are using a different skeleton (the UE4_Mannequin). I selected my animations and used to option to ‘Replace Skeleton’. I selected the one used in the project (the SK_UEFN_Mannequin) but I’m getting these unwanted effects to the animations (see pic attached).
Hi, you can click on your content drawer and find your animations. Right click on one of your animations a side bar will pop up click on Retarget Animations. There is a source character and a target character, source is for the character with the animations and the target is for the character who’s bones you want to retarget. Choose the animations you want to retarget, there is even an editor window where you can see the animations playback. Hope this helps, it’s only available in 5.4 engine.
