Using MassSpawner to spawn characters for use in Level Sequence for Movie Render Queue

I found a solution, which in brief is to use Take Recorder to record the BP_CrowdCharacter animation into a Level Sequence, which I can then use to add cameras and use MRQ as desired.

So I’m not triggering the MassSpawner in my Level Sequence, but using Take Recorder to capture the character animation into a level sequence, and working from there.
