Using livelink webcam with models other than metahumans?

I am using a pc webcam for face tracking with metahumans which works fine.
But now I downloaded the custom model with different blendshape names and the face tracking is not working anymore. I already followed some tutorials where I created an animation blueprint and a remapAsset which is supposed to translate the morph target names from Unreal LiveLink to my custom model but its still not working.
Has anyone else be able to use LiveLink webcam with a custom model?

Your custom model needs to respond to the animation curves defined by the MetaHuman Facial Description Standard . These are the curves LiveLink produces when animating using real time.

I don’t really understand. The morph targets in the preview window are working but I have no curves. Do I need to manually add curves here with the corresponding names?
