Using a reference image in UE4?

Hello, i was wondering if it’s possible to use a reference image similar to the way you would use one in blender? lets say for example if you wanted to recreate a village in the real world using a map of the streets. I want to be able to load the map into UE4 and make the base geometry using that

Just import the picture of the street (view from the top) -> create a material with it -> assign it onto your landscape/mesh :slight_smile:

But if i do like that the material is tiled.

Read (watch tut) about world coordinate mapped material. Its easy to create, and you can expose UV multiplier and scale it within instanced material.

I tryed it but its not working
