Using a Constant3D or Constant4D as Texture, possible?

As a beginner I wonder if there is any interchangeability between Constant3D/Constant4D and textures.

Say I want to create an object that either uses pure colors or textures for its surface. Can this be done? Can I convert a Color3D/Color4D to a texture somehow? Maybe within a blueprint?
