Users can not buy my assets - Error 404

Summary

Hi,
I am a Unity publisher and have had no sales.
So out of curiosity, I asked another UNREAL publisher friend to go and buy one of my cheapest packages to see if it registers on “Sales Reports”
Here is the package

Here is the error screen when he tried paying for the asset

So it appears as if nobody can actually buy my assets?

What type of bug are you experiencing?

Just buying and trying to pay for the asset

Expected Result

For the sale to complete so that I could see if it gets reported as a sale

Observed Result

The user gets an error 404

Can you test and see if you guys can make a purchase of the package
If successful see if it then displays on the sales report

I have had zero sales since I joined
It seems all for nothing if the shop does not work

Hi,

I asked the same user to again try just now.
Just trying to see if it was just a glitch.
Same, still getting a 404

Please can there be feedback on this matter?

I am a one man business.
Sales are very important to me and others like myself.
All the efforts of account setup
Package preperations, submission and approvals was done.
It is very disheartening to now have a situation where sales can actually not take place.

We need this resolved asap :grinning: :wink:

Hi again. We released yesterday but it did not resolve the issue. We’re working on a new fix that will likely be deployed on Monday.

This issue is specific to certain payment types that are used in the European Union (e.g., Klarna, Cash App, Alipay, among others). If customers reach out to you about encountering this error, a workaround could be to suggest a different payment method to them.

This particular user is from Poland.
“I chose online banking as payment”

Have your support maybe tested if for argument sake PayPal does work?

I had the same problem, that I can’t pay! BUT if you use FAB-plugin in your UE Project, than maybe you can pay inside your project! So i can pay via PayPal!

I just popped over and tried pulling a Sales Report.
It now shows something it had not shown before
Bottonm left a small red triangle with an exclamation mark and next to it
“Please Authenticate Yourself”

What is this and where/how do I do that?

Hi Abby,

Some small bit of good news.
Those payment methods you mentioned, and maybe even some others can not be bought with.
I have just been checking using the selection of by Month and selecting November.

I now requested a report but now I used the date selector.
I selected 1 Nov - 8 Nov and it shows 1 sale on 1 Nov and another 8 Nov.

So there is still the bug you mentioned a at the end, you dont want people to be stopped from buying because some popular paygates wont work.

But it then appears as if at least it looks not to be a complete block.
