Greetings. I’ve been racking my brain for days trying to figure out how to remap the controls in the game, via Blueprints, but every tutorial or documentation I find online is either obsolete or incomplete. Could anyone point me towards some material suitable for the latest versions of Unreal?
most tutorials you find are still on teh old Map Key node. on 5.3+ enable Enhanced Input User Settings in project settings, mark the mappings player mappable, then Map Player Key with the action, slot and captured FKey and call Save Settings when the menu closes. for the row labels use Get Player Mapped Keys so it shows what is actually bound, and refresh after each change.
you can also try Advanced Input Rebinding System, a rebinding menu system for Unreal Engine that ships the key capture widget, conflict checks and saved profiles: Advanced Input Rebinding — Enhanced Input Key Remapping, Profiles & Cloud Sync | Fab
