I was wondering how we could use fab.com as a company.
Is it possible to have an organization account that purchases assets and shares them with other organization members?
If yes, what Roles do all of the accounts need to have?
I could not find anything about fab.com in the dev portal documentation.
How are you working around this?
Usually the staff never replies to these kinds of question. You will have better luck emailing them: support.fab.com/s/?ProductOrigin=FabSupport
There is no system for per seat nor transfer license (even on old ue marketplace).
Usually we just copy paste the plugin or via version control.
It only legal if the staff you are sharing, work on the same project together.
Am not sure about sharing to another company tho.
Fab’s End User License Agreement (EULA) requires that all code plugins are licensed on a per-seat basis. This is Fab’s policy.
What this means: No matter which tier you are on, Personal (under $100,000 USD revenue in the last 12 months) or Professional, each person who uses a plugin from the Fab marketplace needs their own license.
You cannot just buy one license and share it. This comes directly from Fab’s official EULA, which states:
“Plugins … are offered to you on a per-seat basis and may only be used by the number of users that you have purchased licenses for.”
